Yeah, I said it.
This colossal ass-clown is proof positive that Trayvon
Martin was gunned down for the simple fact that he was a young BLACK male.
There is an old saying that says you are judged by the company you keep. Well,
on February 26, 2012, George Zimmerman, decided to pursue Trayvon Martin. Due
in great deal to the fact that the yard he cut through belonged to his CLOSE
FRIEND and most ardent supporter Frank Taffe.

A couple of weeks ago, as I was watching the media coverage
on HLN, I couldn’t help but hear the blatant racism in Taffe’s comments.
Disguised as some kind of off-color wit, he only furthered my opinion. Spewing
the daily dose of bullshit that he has been on since the beginning….many of us
just didn’t realize just how far to THE beginning.
“Trayvon cut across MY YARD, where he didn’t
belong and that’s why ‘Papa George’ [ Zimmerman] followed him.”
When hearing Frank Taffe speak, you are introduced to the
face and sound of Racism in America, 21st Century Edition. These
racists more than likely have a couple of black “friends”…tokens, if you will,
to bolster the image of a non-racist to those who may be watching. This new
racist may not ride around spewing the incendiary rhetoric and displaying the
same symbolism as those who came before them. No, like the functioning addict,
they are able to maintain an act in the general public eye while their true
nature lies beneath. But Taffe will claim he “isn’t racist” for a variety of
superficial reasons that satisfy the unknowing masses who are deaf, dumb, and
blind to the truth about them.
Listen to Frank Taffe, and understand that what he is saying
and how he is saying it is a direct reflection of the mindset of the racist in
America, 2013. These racists aren’t like the racists of the Deep South, Jim
Crow era. No, racism in America is a covert operation now. There is too much
money on the line. So when they are challenged, they have the requisite “proof”
to show that they are not racists by the standard definition. But much like
everything else from a forgone era, the definition of racism in America needs
an update.
The media shies away from facing racism head-on in this
country. The masses would like you to believe something is wrong with you if
you dare to believe that, in the 21st century, there is such a
thing. But you are a fool if you
think that racism has subsided in this country. You’re accused of “not pushing
the conversation forward”, “being closed minded”, etc. But it’s way too
difficult as a black man in this country to push forward while we are being
held back by racist ideology that permeates throughout this country. The battle
now is more mental than ever. Psychological Warfare would seem to be an extreme
term to many but how else would you explain the mentality in lower class
communities where the inhabitants feel as though there is no hope for justice?
Yes there are a number of us who are above that bullsh*t.
But there is a sustained concentration of racist motherfuckers in this country
that have something stronger than mere numbers. They have power. Power in this
country is what makes my interracial god-daughter, as well as one of my closest
friends’ sons, get looked at like unnatural beasts. Power is what made the Cheerios
commercial with the adorable little girl, a product of an interracial couple,
be seen less and less to the point to where you’re lucky if you see it at all
on television. Power and the influence of a father who is still well-connected in
legal circles is what allowed George Zimmerman to gun down Trayvon Martin and
be able to manipulate the judicial system in a manner which got him acquitted.
I am not a gambler. Anyone who knows me can tell you that.
But I would be willing to bet that within the next year, Frank Taffe will be on
payroll with Fox News or some sort of syndicated radio program that will
provide him the platform to further the racist agenda that he and those of his
ilk purport.
This is not and should not be interpreted as blanket
prosecution on all white people in America. Much like their black counterparts
who shake their heads from the ignorance played out daily in black communities;
these racists make them cringe with embarrassment. The sight of white mothers
outside the courthouse in Sanford, wiping away tears after the verdict….white
men standing shoulder to shoulder with black men, holding signs that screamed
for justice…that’s evidence enough that this is an issue that has long stained
the fabric of the this country.
Me, hell, I had to reassure one of my close friends last
night that him being white is not and never will be an issue. But, my friend
also understands that if I offer my heartfelt opinion that the this country,
and Black America most specifically, has way too much Martin and not enough
Malcolm, I can guarantee you that he’d give the thumbs up because those type of
white people understand the bullsh*t and want to see it cease as well.
To Frank, George, and many like them, all black males are
lumped into the same category. That is why it was nothing for them to profile
every other black male that walked through the Twin Lakes neighborhood after a
burglary that had occurred the summer before that fateful night in 2012. That
the area had a rash of burglaries for years is NOT reason enough to justify
Trayvon’s murder. That would be like saying that black people should feel
justifiably threatened by white males due to the long standing history of
injustice in this country.....See how that reads?
